Le Double Knit Scarf est une courte écharpe tricotée en double knitting (tricot en tube, réversible). Son design simple en fait un modèle qui convient à tous.
Le niveau de difficulté s’adresse aux personnes capables de tricoter des mailles endroit de manière uniforme et à l’aise avec le rabattage tubulaire.
Les techniques utilisées sont le montage italien (tubulaire), le glissé 1 maille fil devant et le rabattage tubulaire, avec des vidéos disponibles pour les apprendre.
La taille est unique.
L’échantillon est de 25 mailles sur 29 rangs pour 10 x 10 cm en double knitting avec des aiguilles de 4,0 mm après blocage humide. À titre de référence, on obtient environ 22 mailles sur 33 rangs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey après blocage.
La laine recommandée est Cardiff Classic (112 m / 25 g).
Il faut environ 300 m / 67 g. Les couleurs utilisées pour l’échantillon sont : Beige #509 (Silver), Brun #511 (Brown) et Marine #647 (Cosmo).
Les aiguilles recommandées sont des aiguilles circulaires de 4,0 mm avec des pointes d’au moins 11 cm et un câble d’environ 60 cm, ou des aiguilles droites de 4,0 mm.
Les autres accessoires nécessaires sont un support pour mettre les mailles en attente (aiguille auxiliaire ou arrête-mailles), une aiguille à laine et un crochet pour rentrer les fils.
